SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE

The space is the greatest luxury of our time, but what is small is not necessarily low-value: "small" can mean simple, fascinating , and give a pleasant sense of concentration, that more and more often, is given by a wise use of light.

The first design step was to make a preliminary assessment of the lighting conditions of each area of the house, and found where the light fells in the course of the day.

Then, to animate the interior, "cuts" are displaced for horizontal and vertical diurnal usability (windows, skylights) and other deep and longitudinal "cuts" in the kitchen and in the bathroom for lighting fixtures (more sloping areas of this attic space).

A new and technical lighting, in which night-time use, we wanted to control the intensity strategically; a solution of continuity that creates light without lighting fixtures. In the other rooms through equipment of cable, the light returns to fall from above...
